Most of my work involves storytelling, and I’ve always loved telling stories. The many layers and facets allow for investigation and introspection. Every medium of expression that I practice bleeds into one another, and that doesn’t just include visual art. My music and poetry propel most of my ideas into their visual form, but almost every message I desire to get across in my artwork starts on a piece of paper or on my notes app. Words are very important to me, whether they can be seen or heard on the surface of my artwork or are hidden underneath, they are the foundation of everything I create, whether that is painting, photography, or videography.  Almost all of my work exists somewhere between the whimsical and childlike and the dark and macabre. Much of my work is biographical and this combination helps me get across more serious themes with a more playful tone. For example, I use a lot of religious symbolism ironically to express the effect growing up in the church had on my personal development. 

            I have a hard time choosing one discipline to focus on, so I don’t. I want to exist a space where I can want it all can get nothing less. One outlet just isn't enough, and I hope others can see themselves in the things I create. I want to make artwork for people who feel like they have too much to say, but don’t know how to say it. I want to create artwork for people you feel things like I do, and I want others to find a deep connection and understanding with the stories I tell in my work.. We are all one living in the same human existence, and my experiences are not unique to me. I am not alone, and neither are you.
